The New York Bandits took on the Empire State Demon Knights in what would amount to be just about all the football the Bandits could take on this day. The Bandits scratched and clawed all day long for every yard versus the young and hungry Demon Knights. When the dust cleared the Blue Print Fans walked away happy that the team secured victory number 6 of the season with a 14-6 victory over the Knights. As the years continue to flip off the calendar and the product remains so stable its easy to forget that we are currently playing our 15th season of football as a program. You know you have become a staple when you have a history that people outside of your organization enjoy. We have a job to not only continue to play hard today but we need to protect the past and make the future easier for Bandits to come. We would like to thank Paul Pitman from Inmotion Sports for following the sport for well over a decade but for making sure that the New York Bandit story has always had a face.

“Paul is great, he taught me alot. When I was a younger Coach I can’t count how many times I meet with Paul to obtain video as that was the tool we used to get better. Years later we did more in house but Paul was always available for consulting”, says Coach Billy Badson. Enjoy a great video provided by the king of the highlight films, Paul Pitman. Enjoy younger Bandts in Kevin Kirnon, Booker McJunkin, Tim Hudson, Markeys Girladez to name a few.

BANDITS HELP TELL LONNIE WHITE STORY

Initially when we were approached to assist in the filming of the Mystery Diagnosis episode telling the story of Lonnie White our program was excited about just being on TV. What has happened since Mr. Whites story has aired reminded me that life and our blessings can change everyday. This great experience went from something that was great to something we can be proud of in a different way. Getting the chance to see the Bandit Uniform on national TV was awesome but if we knew the story before the shoot we would have fought to be apart of it from day one. As the episode just aired I will make it my business to get a better video for all to see. Lonnie White loved the same game we did but he will to continue the battle is what will hold dear with me for years to come.

The New York Bandits have never had the chance to play the Demon Knights as our paths have not crossed until now. On August 28th, 2010 @ 1PM though the Bandits will be looking for milestone victory # 160 versus their Gridiron Elite brother. Some come one come all and support the New York Bandits quest to banish the Demon Knights in FSFL WEEK 6 PLAY.

The New York Bandits played a very familiar foe today in the New York Spartans at Evander Childs HS. As the recap is yet to come congrats to the Boys in Blue and the Blue Print Nation as the game played close but the bottom line is this Bandits win 26-18 and move to 5-0.
